Then I knit a gauge swatch and psyched myself up for 'rithmatiking.
It consisted of this

CO = 210
I've now knit over six inches of stockinette in the round. And the fabric looks so much better.
...pondering over hem yarn...

you're a much better person than me - i wouldn't have bothered soaking the yarn to get the kinks out...i'm so lazy!
